COVID 19 – How AMS is responding

It is certainly a difficult and complicated time in the arts, culture and entertainment space. AMS Planning & Research and AMS Analytics are committed to being vigilant and doing our share to help. Our first concern is, of course, our AMS team and their families.

Already accustomed to remote working with a distributed team, and with deep technological resources available, we are fully functioning, fully connected and fully available and able to deliver our services to our clients and partners.

We have made the decision to officially close access to our offices in Connecticut and California as we do our share to help slow the progression of the COVID-19 virus but our team remains fully accessible by phone and email.

AMS is actively engaged as our field manages the impact of social distancing and mandated and recommended closures of public assembly facilities. The economic and social impact is real. The arts are a place of connection, engagement and shared humanity that is needed more now than ever. We applaud our clients who are already looking for new and creative ways to continue to provide their invaluable service to the communities they serve. We are here to support those efforts and to help you connect with others in the field.

AMS is collecting data to document impact and share best practices. We are convening leaders and sharing resources from across the field. If you have a story to tell or an idea to share, please let us know at ams@ams-online.com and we will be delighted to make it available.

Information we gather is being posted to a new Arts Sector Response Resources page on our website. If we can assist you in any way, please do not hesitate to reach out.
