What is most significant about the work that you do?
As the saying goes, if you don’t have data, you just have an opinion. I love the opportunity to engage the innovative thinkers and leaders of this generation’s arts and culture institutions in conversations about critical matters–backed by data. We’ve been privileged to grow the industry’s largest set of operational data and the insights we’ve been able to discover continue to help performing arts centers thrive.

Where is the greatest opportunity for the sector today?
Performing arts centers have always played a central, if not transformational role in the communities where they are established. Those communities continue to look to their institutions for leadership and guidance toward a more equitable and sustainable future where the next generation can find their voice. We feel privileged to play even a small role in that pivot.

Who are your most recent clients?
We’ve been fortunate to bring some incredible new organizations onto the Analytics Suite platform this past year. Among the institutions we’ve been delighted to add to the Analytics family: Proctors Collaborative, the wonderfully eclectic cultural bedrock of Schenectady, New York; San Diego Theatres, the heart of arts and culture in this destination city; and State Theatre New Jersey, an institution devoted to bringing arts and culture to the tri-state area since theater manager Walter Reade opened its doors in 1921.

What do you do in your spare time?
My family is always my priority—and we love to travel together. Of course, while we’re making our way down a trail or exploring some mountainside, I’ll grab my camera and shoot a few hundred photos with the goal of finding that perfect shot worthy of the wall.

Arts, culture and entertainment is our business.
