AMS

As we welcome 2026, we would like to celebrate all that happened in 2025.

This past year, we celebrated the groundbreaking of Northlight Theatre in Evanston, Illinois, and the Dave and Roma McCoy Arts and Cultural Center in Mammoth Lakes, California, as well as the opening of Phase II of the Gouge Performing Arts Center at Auburn University.  Other facility projects moving forward include Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, TimeLine Theatre, and the Center for the Arts at the University of Virginia.

We were also fortunate to partner with strategic planning clients from ZACH Theater and South Coast Repertory to the Gallo Center for the Arts, the Pittsburgh CLO, Second Stage Theater, and New York Theatre Workshop.

AMS grew our Lynette A. Turner Pathways to Consulting Fellowship cohort with three excellent Fellows: Zoe Briscoe, Lynne Ombati, and Sherry Xueer Hao.  We are excited to see how they contribute to the arts sector as they advance in their careers!

This fall, AMS stepped into a new phase of leadership—one that honors our legacy while setting a fresh course for how we support arts and cultural organizations. Bill Blake will now serve as Principal, and Jon Faris has taken on the role of Managing Principal, partnering alongside Founding Principal Steven A. Wolff and Director Michele Walter.  We are excited about this transition for our team and its leadership.

As we look to the future, we continue to advocate for arts organizations to offer new, compelling programming that provides their communities with the kind of active, participatory entertainment that audiences are seeking.  Alongside other content, this may include immersive entertainment, and, to that end, we produced the second Immersive Immersive convening in Montreal this fall, in partnership with HUB Montreal, PHI, and Place des Arts.

We recognize our colleagues continue to navigate significant changes, and we’d love to hear from you about your experience over the last year.  Please drop us a line and tell us how you’re doing.

For those of you who have been clients and collaborators – we thank you! Your commitment, dedication, and resilience continue to motivate us to always do more.  For those we have yet to work with, we look forward to supporting your goals and dreams in 2026 and beyond.

Onward,

The AMS Team
