AMS is pleased to welcome our third Fellow in our Pathways to Consulting Fellowship, Anna Zheng. Anna’s term begins in April and will end in June.
Anna is currently a rising senior at Yale University studying Economics and Russian & East European Studies. Prior to Yale, she studied classical ballet at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia and was a recipient of the National Security Language Initiative for Youth scholarship from the US Department of State.
At Yale she helps lead the Yale Undergraduate Ballet Company by directing performances, securing funding, and organizing master classes. In the past, she worked as a program assistant for the Russian American Foundation’s Bolshoi Ballet Summer Intensive and helped develop the Virtual Ballet Intensive during the pandemic.
Previously, she worked as an equity research associate intern at Scharf Investments, and assisted with building financial models, creating pitch decks, and researching industry trends on potential investments. She is also a Girls Who Invest Online Intensive program scholar, and has worked as a behavioral lab assistant with the Yale School of Management. She is thankful for this opportunity to work with sector leaders at AMS and is excited to learn more about the arts and culture consulting field.
AMS’s first-in-the-field program was initiated to help support and escalate involvement of individuals from groups that have been underrepresented in the arts and culture consulting field. Fellowships are intended to provide practical training and play a role in nurturing leadership by expanding and fostering inclusiveness within the discipline of arts and culture consulting.
Program participants will be mentored by recognized sector leaders and engage in valuable training and dialogue with a professional staff that collectively has decades of expertise in the arts and culture arena. Experience at AMS may play a role in providing a competitive advantage when fellows who have been engaged in the program are looking for employment in the arts and culture sector.
