AMS Planning & Research Welcomes Two New Team Members

Responding to the needs of our clients as they return from the long pandemic business interruption, AMS is expanding its capacity to support facility development, strategic planning, and industry development efforts.  We are pleased to announce two new team members:

Rebekah Boggs, AMS’s most recent Pathways to Consulting Fellow has joined the team full-time as a Project Coordinator to support consulting projects as well as our work with performing arts centers. Rebekah is also supporting the development of a new national arts Leadership Fellowship which seeks to increase BIPOC representation on leadership teams of performing arts centers and increase pathways for BIPOC to advance to the C-suite of performing arts centers. Prior to her fellowship at AMS Planning & Research, Rebekah worked as a self-affirmed “data geek” at New Inc. the New Museum of Contemporary Art and the Tour Coordinator and Education Assistant at the Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia. In that role, she led the museum’s social media outreach and designed educational and artistic resources.

Jon Faris was most recently the Head of Production Operations for Category41, an immersive and experiential entertainment studio that creates experience-driven entertainment at the intersection of digital and physical. He is joining the team as an Associate to support our clients’ undertaking facility development and strategic planning. AMS and Jon previously worked together when Jon was the Managing Director at Writers Theatre in Chicago, where he developed strategy and supported the marketing, fundraising, production, finance, facilities, education, and artistic departments. AMS partnered with Jon as he led the design and construction of its new state-of-the-art theatre center, designed by internationally renowned architect and MacArthur Fellow recipient Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang Architects.
