AMS Congratulates Dr. Phillips Center on the Completion of Steinmetz Hall

AMS congratulates Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on the completion of Steinmetz Hall. The hall is the final component of the Dr. Phillips Center, opening on January 14, 2022. Together with Walt Disney Theater and Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater it fulfills the vision for the 698,000 sq.ft. facility as a community and world class destination.

AMS has been working with Orlando’s arts leaders since the 1990’s with a comprehensive analysis of arts and cultural resources and activity in the Orlando market. Following an AMS study of the Bob Carr Auditorium in 2006, the community embraced the concept of a new state-of-the-art performing arts center that resulted in the design, funding, and construction of the Dr. Phillips Center, which opened its first phase, the Walt Disney Theater and Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater, in November, 2014.
